Love this flavor. I grew up drinking various cream soda brands and drink some now and then in adulthood. This is a flavor I'm very happy with and enjoyed it immensely. It was the first flavor I tried and I recommend it for cream soda drinkers.

I really wanted cream soda

I made the purchase and opened the bottle first thing when I got home. I'm sorry to say it was really gross. I tried adding more syrup, and I tried less. I tried it with and without bubbles. At no point did it taste like cream soda. Indeed, if butterscotch is the flavor you are looking for then 5 stars hands down.

Having used sodastream for YEARs now, I can empirically say that not only has the taste gone steadily downhill, but that it's also gotten much more expensive, as well.
Cream soda is defined by it's vanilla taste. SodaStream's syrup is very, very light on that taste. When they used the short, fat bottles, it was great. Tasted great and was a good price.
Speaking of price... $6 for 12 liters. Vs the short, fat bottle that had 16 liters for $5.
Yeah, they watered down the syrup and sold it for more.

And this isn't the only product that has that issue. The fountain mist really tastes sh*tty now, too. And I miss the black cherry cola (the cherry cola is NOT the same).
