Definitely better than the new version

For those wanting a real true cream soda taste I will say this flavor will probably disappoint you. However, the real value with this flavor is in mixing it with other flavors. It can add that creamy vanilla style flavor to an otherwise less exciting flavor. I have mixed this with various flavors and encourage experimentation. Normally 3 parts other flavors and 1 part Cream. I still have the Ocean spray Cranberry and would encourage Soda Stream to bring back these and the Strawberry Daiquiri and Pina Colada flavors. I mix the Cranberry with a bit of Grape and Cream for a great tasting soda. I also mix the Cream with the Peach flavor, any Orange flavor, even the Ginger Ale with Cream and Cranberry is excellent. The Cream can go with any Berry or Fruit flavors, Colas and even the Energy drinks. Don't be so quick to dismiss the value of this flavor. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because it's not great on it's own. Btw, the new version was also good for this but the older version is more distinct and bold so it brings out the flavors it's mixed with much better than the new version did.

I bought 2 bottles and poured the one I opened down my kitchen sunk. I may try the other bottle but just the memory of my first glass will stop me from opening it. Good news is that I really enjoyed the root beer, cola and ginger ale.

I recently purchased a Soda Stream and absolutely love it! The Cream Soda however is horrid. I bought it yesterday and tried it out tonight. It tastes like bug spray. I will be throwing the rest out. Yuck

There are different formulas for flavors; some to avoid brand infringement and some for a new flavor twist. I’m not crazy about the Cream Sodastream flavor. My wife likes it so that’s what counts! The Cola flavor, however, is spot on and I love it!

I miss the diet cream soda. Perhaps coincidently, here in Portland, ME., many of the so called available flavors are non-existent.
