I was very excited to see cream soda flavor, but when I actually tried it, it was nothing like cream soda....very strong caramel flavor....too strong...I even tried not putting as much syrup in and adding a drop of vanilla, which helped a little, but still, nothing like traditional cream soda. I did not care for it at all. This is the only flavor I will not buy again.

The bottle lies, but the soda is good!

So, literally, this syrup requires HALF of the suggested amount to taste like cream soda. I nearly gagged the first time I made it at full strength. That said, the bottle goes twice as far when you use half as much. Worst case, you might be inclined to add a hint more sugar when reducing the syrup as I suggest. I sometimes add a splash of raspberry, strawberry, cherry, orange, or peach coffee syrups to mix it up a bit, and it tastes great that way, too!

I didn't think the other bad reviews could be true, but they are. Now I know why this isn't carried in stores. This is horrible, it's terrible, it's nothing like cream soda. I like pretty out there stuff, and even like what my kids mix up for me, and there is just no getting around the sickeningly sweet mystery flavor they're calling Cream Soda. I watered it down, it was worse. I mixed it with Cola, and I had to pour it out. I have found nothing useful to do with this flavor. I'm sorry. I tried.

Getting rid of Cream Soda without throwing it out

To all of those people who can't stand this flavor, I found a way so that you can use it all up without having to waste it or anything.. just make vanilla floats out of it with ice cream, it totally kills the bad flavor in the soda. I was thrilled when I found out it works because I didn't want to have to throw the whole bottle out, but it's perfectly fine with a scoop or 2 of vanilla ice cream.

I was so happy that I found the cream soda in a store. It doors not taste anything like cream soda. I say it tastes similar to black licorice. The smell is even off.

Seems like everyone has either a love or hate relationship with this one. I absolutely love it. Has a great sweet flavor and tastes great to our family!
