Really works!

When I first got this, I ran my Roomba in the kitchen/family room, leaving the old dust bin in. I then put the new dust bin in and immediately re-vacuumed. The Roomba picked up a lot more fine dust using the new bin. This makes the Roomba work better on both carpet and hard flooring. Most of the dust/hair/particles get trapped in the dust bin, so less gets into the roller assembly, making that easier to clean. Overall, this is a great upgrade; however, it does require more power, so you won't get as much cleaning out of one charge.
Pros: Easy To Clean, Effective, Improves Performance, Prolongs brush life
Cons: Uses more power

Makes it even easier to own a Roomba

Cleaning brushes used to be something I did every week. This update made that pretty much unnecessary. Got rid of the biggest maintenance task of the vacuum cleaner.

The AeroVac is way more powerful than the older unit. The old bin could not pick up the little bits of paper from a hole puncher, but this one can fine. In addition it even picks up pennies and heavier objects which the older bin could not. It picks up about 1/3 more dust in my apartment as well. Very pleased!
Pros: Easy To Empty, Efficient, Powerful/Good Suction, Way more suction than old

I have a rottweiler who sheds like crazy. I don't have to keep my broom in the kitchen anymore. I love my irobot 560 and now everyone will turn on the machine to vacuum the floors. My husband and I think this is the best thing we have spent money on. It is so worth it. Mine also came with the upgrade kit free and its great. I've already recommended this to several people.
Pros: Easy To Empty, Easy To Use, Efficient, Now everyone vacuums
Cons: Noisy

I have Robotina for 9 years and is working very good, I replaced this part almost 5 years ago and is working great, today I'm buying a new battery and a new brush compartment, hope this make another 10 years or cleaning floors:)

I am so impressed with this upgrade kit. It really keeps most of the hair off the brushes and puts in it in the bin. This has exceeded my expectations.

The bristle brush of the upgrade kit fit loosely in my roomba550. The green ends wore off in 3 weeks and the roomba started making loud noises when cleaning. I use roomba to clean my bedroom everyday as I share the space with my 2 month old baby.

I've had my IRobot Series 500 for over 5 years. I thought it was convenient and fairly effective. I bought this upgrade kit and it's like a whole new machine. It runs much quieter and for a longer time. But the thing that amazes me is the amount of pollen it picks up. We are in the middle of tree pollen season and everyting in the house is green. It actually picks it up and puts it in the dust bin. AMAZING!!
