RUN, DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS WASHER!
on May 4, 2017

I purchased two washers. They are extremely loud. I had a service technician in my home servicing another appliance who asked what the noise was. He walked into the laundry room and couldn't believe how loud the washers were. I called to schedule a service appointment because of the sounds they were making and the service Rep wouldn't even schedule a service call. Rep "Barbara" said that is just the way they are made. Nothing wrong. Really? If your pastime is going to the airport to listen to the jets taking off, you are going to love this machine.

Leaves clothes damp

I had and older duet worked great for almost 10 years but started getting too loud on the spin cycles. I purchased this model because of the closet depth and my duet dryer is working fine. However, we find that the clothes come out much damper than our old washer.

Amazing Water Removal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this washer. In particular, I love how dry clothes come out of it. Items that I once would have needed to throw in dryer are practically dry. Maybe that is why my towels seems fluffier when they finally come out of my old dryer. All the bells & whistles were initially a little intimidating, but the instructions booklet makes it all so clear. After a couple of uses, I now feel like an expert.

Do Not Buy

This is the worst front load washer ever. It is loud on start, loud on spin, loud on drain. I'm so disappointed. And as you know this washer is not cheap. I owned a whirlpool Duet prior. I loved it. You never heard it. I've had two different repair tech say this is the way they sound today. They have no sound insulation! I hate to put the washer on while I'm home. They are going to try and replace drain mechanism. But that is only part of the problem. One tech blamed the government for telling manufacturers to make washers with lighter materials?! I would welcome a regional manager to come listen to this machine. Or how about the engineers!

What has happened to engineering integrity of these machines?Valve body on the washing machine is broken. Service office don't know or won't tell me what the plastic material is. so that I find a glue for it.Drier has a constant squicky noise. Service replaced the belt to no use; same noise continues. What has happened to engineering integrity of these machines? As long as they appeal to female eye, it maters none about its engine?

Amazing Detergent Dispensing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how this dries stuff. It takes a lot less time to dry things in the dryer since this gets so much of the water out first.I also love that I can put in detergent and it automatically decides how much it needs to use. I'm using much less these days.

As Good As It Looks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an upgrade from a Bosch Compact washer. Clothes are less wrinkled, much less beaten up and obviously - fewer loads per week.
