Best Fridge ever!

This fridge is the best, very roomy and is quiet, ice maker is great and don't take up any useable space like my old fridge did, also the water filter is slim and easy to change and the led lighting is very bright!, the freezer is very large, the 3rd door is also very useful for quick items you use the most, This fridge is so nice when my daughter saw it she said to me "You have to put in your will I get the fridge!!" lol!! , all my major appliances are LG now. Buy this fridge you will love it!

Multiple valuable features in a beautiful package

Finally, a refrigerator which fits our family's needs and lifestyle! The door in door feature is perfect for cold drinks. The flexibility of storage accommodations makes it easy to keep a large amount of produce fresh. The freezer keeps our frozen items within easy access.

Great storage capacity.

We love the capacity, the LED lighting,the crushed ice and filtered water. The extra drawer in the freezer is also handy along with the door in door feature makes for quick access to things without having to leave the whole door open. Having multiple crispers are nice too, one for fruit, one for veggies, one for cheese, and one for meats.

Good unit but lacking in some features

It is a good unit but could use some enhancements in terms of features:
1. Ice machine very small for the size of the refrigerator and has hard time keeping up with demand for 2 people (big issue)
2. Temperature display shows what the unit is set for rather than the actual temperature inside the fridge & freezer (fairly big issue)
3. Filters (water & air) do not have easy access per some of the other manufacturers models.
4. Temperature has to be raised above recommended level or outside door compartment will experience spoilage.
5. Middle drawer would have greater functionality if it could be opened from outside rather than inside refrigerator.

Makes a very loud popping noise when defrosting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator a little over a year ago. My wife and I were very excited about the door in door feature and the convenience of it, but the noise it makes when it is in the defrost cycle is shocking. It is very loud and it makes this noise throughout the defrost cycle. You can hear from the far end of the house. I contacted LG when it was in warranty and they said that the noise was normal, but I can't believe the decibels this unit puts out is normal. It sounds like a train wreck.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge has been great. There is almost zero noise. It’s roomy and we rarely have any problems. The only issues are the water dispenser placement and the mold that starts on the sealing surfaces. The water dispenser is not in the normal place like most refrigerators, so almost every guest has made a small puddle on the floor trying to use it. Mold builds up on the sealing gaskets for some reason.

after nine years the machine broke compressor died but thats ok because it has 10 year warranty have fun trying to get it fixed i will never buy LG appliances and will never recommend any one to

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS REFRIGERATOR

I was so fascinated by this product when I first saw it in the store....then I compared it to other brands and knew I had to have this fridge. I am very happy with it and love the door-in-door feature and the great capacity of both the fridge and the freezer. I have also just purchased a LG gas range and love it also. LG has become a great manufacturer of appliances.
