LFX31945ST that no longer seems to cool. The refrigerator seemed to work fine until recently when I noticed that the refrigerator was not maintaining a safe temperature. Regardless of set temperature the refrigerator cools to 48 degrees and the freezer gets down to 17 degrees. I suspect this is due to the faulty compressor design that I have since read so
much about. I did call one repair service that indicated repair would cost nearly as much as a new unit. I’m wondering if there are any cost effective options at this point. Currently looking for reliable replacement.

In general, have been mostly pleased until recently.
Several of the drawer rollers have broken over the years. The rollers seem to be a major design failure just behind the compressor.

Expensive junk

Had this model "LFX31945ST" for 3 years and it was nothing but trouble. First the water/ice keeps leaking, fixed that. Then the ice dispenser would freeze the cubes together, I assume they would melt a little and then stick together. The freezer kept forming a huge chunk of ice in the bottom and it kept leaking out to the floor.
And then Finally it quit putting the cold out and ruined a bunch of food. The control board showed No ERROR at all. It was probably the coolant leaked out but we junked it because we were tired of all the problems.
We also had a matching stove thats control relay board keep burning a wire to the oven and also had random issues. One burner would stop working then it would work etc ect It was junked too.
