PURCHASE DATE: May 1, 2015 Stopped working in August 2022 and after I called LG I was able to get repairman to come out and take a look at it who told me that my refrigerator not only has compressor problem but condenser as well that made my lines get contaminated with black liquid. The LG repairman said it wasn’t worth fixing and I should invest into a new refrigerator because this one is a goner. Under 8 years old and it was trashed.

LG 31 CU. FT. SUPER CAPACITY 3-DOOR FRENCH DOOR REFRIGERATOR W/DOOR-IN-DOOR. We have had this fridge for nine years and ten months. Last month the compressor failed. The warranty for the parts still applied and was replaced by LG with much less hassle than I expected. We had to pay for the labor but it was reasonable.
