Lots of Room - Love the Extra Door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the LFX31945ST on 12/31/2012. I have had to have it serviced twice already and I don't believe it still runs correctly. For the price, I expected a higher quality product. I also purchased a HE Top Loading LG Washer - WT5001CW. My 4 year extended warranty expired on 3/22/2016 - the washer expired on 5/22/2016. Again, not what I expected. I'm done with LG products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say I am very disappointed in LG - We have had a GE for over 20 years with NO repairs needed. We bought this Refrigerator 2013 and we already have to call for repairs on the ice maker. Very disappointing AND expensive!

Ice dispenser crusher rusting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Up until recently, I have had no problems with my LG French Door Refrigerator. Recently noticed ice dispensing with rust in the ice cubes. After inspection of the ice dispenser, noticed the ice crusher has rusted. It appears that I will need to purchase a new dispenser bucket. I'm disappointed this component would rust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator 4 years ago and I love it. Very spacious with cool secret door. The only downfall is the ice maker. If you plan on using a lot of ice in one day, you better make sure your ice bin in the freezer is full.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use

Worst purchase ever.

My brother purchased exact same fridge he had no issues however on mine the Motherboard was replaced a couple of months after purchased luckily was still under warranty. Ice machine and water dispenser stopped working months ago and this morning we woke up to noise coming from the fridge turns out the freezer is not working anymore. I am done with this fridge.

Worst Purchase Ever Made!

Thank goodness for extended warranty through the place we bought. We have had this fridge 5 years now and has had so many parts and doors replaced that now through the extended warranty they are having a tech come tomorrow for possible full replacement of the fridge. We call about every 3-6 months for repair and issues with freezer, Ice Maker, and seals. There is no reason for Ice to build up in back of freezer, Ice not making in maker or when it does it is melty and forms balls in the tray so you cant use it through the dispenser. Loud Buzzing noise off and on. So loud you can hear it throughout my house. Now on a new piece since April it is building up water. We had to replace the whole door with dispenser due to I had water running down through the electrical panel. They replaced the door but not the electrical panel...EEK! Hoping I can replace this awful fridge!!!!

For the price should last longer

The fridge is great as far as looks and space for storage. I love it. It keeps thawing out every so often causing me to throw away lots of groceries. For the money we pay brand new these refridgerators should last longer than 6 years without problems.

Expensive Refrigerator - Only Lasted Five Years.

I bought this refrigerator 5 years ago. After one year, the interior plastic developed several cracks. I was disappointed in this, however; since the fridge still appeared to function properly, I settled for this poor quality. My household includes only me and my husband (no children) and we do not misuse this fridge at all. Now, we are at year five and the compressor has failed. What's worse is that none of the local appliance repair businesses will touch the LG Brand because of the recurring quality issues. I am now at day 8 without a working refrigerator and no prospects of identifying someone to replace the compressor. Time to switch to a new brand.
