great refrigerator

I like the wide open spaces when I open the door. Much better than my side by side which always seemed too narrow. I have the door in a door and like it a lot. I keep butter, cheese, and some condiments in it. I also especially like the drawer in the refrigerator and in the freezer that are as wide as the refrigerator. Useful for large trays. The freezer seems huge. The ice maker is great. I like the small cubes it makes. The only drawback are the air and water filters which are a bit pricey. Otherwise I am extremely happy with my purchase.

At first I was hestitated buying this refrigerator because its high price, large size, and reviews disclosed about water/ice leaks. One life to live. It is like buying an expensive purse, you wear it and you love it. You feels great owning it. Not all homes have a refrigerator to show off. I used these reasonings to purchase. Now, I have to say, "I have no regrets. I love it." Regarding the leak, if you are careful getting the water/ice, there is no problems. I loved the style/design, features, performance, easy to use, and quality. If you own this product or any LG products, don't forget to register it. Once registered, LG will notify you of ways to maintenance and how to use the products' functions.

As soon as we saw this LG refrigerator with the "door-in-door" and the size we fell in love with it. There was so much space we had to do shopping again. When I first opened the door(s) it felt like looking into a space ship with the bright lights. Our foods stay fresher longer and my husband has spent more time standing in front of it looking in than any other refrigertor we ever had. He has gained some weight because of it. He likes the little alarm when opened too long. It's fun having having this LG product. Since then we bought some other LG products.

I love baking lots of wonderful pies and much more. This is the first time I actually have room for those "big family meals" and all the left overs for my snack happy people. The best thing - I can see!!

It is impressive in size and style. Importantly it is very quiet and tremendous amount of storage.
The door in a door is wonderful and keeps items cooler than I thought it would.
The freezer drawers help me to keep things organized and easy to find.

We like this fridge better than any other fridge we have bought. Lots of room for everything in fridge and freezer. Love the door-in-door!!

Great Design

This refrigerator isn't cheap but it sure is well-designed. First of all, the ice maker in the door is a brilliant space saver. There is still room to store shelf items, like condiments, and it frees up so much space in the main part of the refrigerator.
The LCD lighting is just wonderful. It is so bright and it gives a clean look to everything.
The shelves adjust to many variations and if that's not enough, one of them even slides back partially for storage of tall items.
We like the extra big storage compartment. We use it for deli items but it is great for those large, flat items you have on occasion.
The fruit and veggie bins aren't the biggest but there are two that allow you to adjust the humidity and a middle one that you can use for a variety of things.
We love the door-in-door feature and find it very convenient. The only drawback is that the storage bins in the door don't have a rail that is very high so tall items can fall out if you open the door too fast.
The freezer is also convenient. It's quite easy to organize items. We like the drawer space, although you need to be careful that you don't put things in the top drawer that will catch and prevent you from opening it.
The water and ice dispenser work well. The control panel is very clear and easy to see and use.
I don't know how long the french door rage will last but we like it. There are certainly times when you will find yourself opening both doors anyway but part of that is just learning where you put food in the new appliance, I suppose.
We've had this refrigerator for a month and a half. Overall, we've been quite pleased with it.
