Best product choice for our family of 6. It is huge, holds all our food and snacks,lighting for mom to find them all, and the third door is perfect access for the kids so they are not standng in front of fridge wide open letting all the cold air out and don't forget the easy access freezer where your frozen painful groceries can not fall out on your feet because its tucked away via drawer! AMAZING, LOVE IT, PERFECT!!

A great purchase and love all the features and extras. Being able to tune the temp of both fridge and freezer is very nice. Not just a dial, but from the touch pad on front, can actually tune to numbers. The ice maker is nice that it can do crushed and cubed. The freezer space is very well laid out. Deep, with drawers higher for easier reach. Everything about it makes it a great buy. Will have this fridge a long time.

very nice fridge, but very limited ice

So far after about a month of having this fridge everything works well, though the ice tray is a bit too small for our usage.
I know we can fill the included tray but that is such a hassle. The other day I went for some ice but only got a few pieces. Upon inspection of the ice tray I say a chunk of ice near the sensor, this told the ice maker it was full and it stopped making ice, once cleared it went back to making ice. I will need to keep an eye on that!!! Anyway, overall I think it was a great value and has plenty of room.

Awesome product! Super capacity both in the both the refrigerator and freezer sections. Very energy efficient, great lighting, makes a ton of ice and the French doors make it easy to find the things you are looking for.
Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a new unit.

Best refrigerator ever owned

I have watched these since they came out several years ago, but could not justify a new one when mine was still in good working order. Recently the ice maker and water mechanism went out on my older one, and I bought this one. It is great, beautiful addition to my kitchen, and does everything as it should. I would not consider another brand/model , for we have been so satisfied with this one. Everything is accessible, well lit, and sooooooooo much room for each and every thing you keep in the fridge. Thank you so much for making these models, and the sale price I got was just that much more to brag about.

Great product but one major flaw

My wife and I had built a new home and we loved the features on this particular model, especially the door in door feature.
We have had it since August 2013 and like it very much but the ONE MAJOR FLAW IS THE ICE MACHINE DISPENSOR.
The hole, that the ice comes out of, is to small to handle the amount of cubed ice that is produced. When we use the ice machine feature for cubed ice, we have to always stop and open the trap door more because the ice ALWAYS GETS STUCK.
This isn't a real problem until friends try to use it and think the ice isn't coming out but in reality, it is stuck. This creates a huge problem when you try to remove the ice bin in the door.
The manufacturer didn't really do a good job on this portion but the other features are great. If that would not be a problem, I would give this 5 stars instead of 4.

Can One Be in Love with one's own fridge?? YES!

When we buy a major appliance, we research the heck out of it before we buy. We visited 4 stores, talked to countless sales reps, and read many reviews on the internet, so we knew what we DID NOT want. We went with this LG based on the good reviews and critical comments about what was most important to us. It's been over a month now, and we are more than pleased with many features of this refrigerator. - We love this fridge
1. It is ultra quiet. The compressor is barely heard, the icemaker doesn't exist as far as I know, because you can't even here the ice falling within it.
2. There is no after-drip with the water dispenser, nor the icemaker with after-ice.
3. The door within a door is the most used feature....what a great innovation!
4. The pull out freezer drawer is very well built and solid.
5. The space within both the refrigerator and freezer is remarkable.
