Purchased 12/19/14 Freezer fan hitting ice

I bought this refrigerator in Dec of 2014. I thought I liked this refrigerator until tonight. I heard a loud pinging noise coming from the kitchen. I opened the freezer drawer and saw that the back of the freezer has iced up. The fan blades are hitting ice. It makes a very loud noise. Very disappointed in a refrigerator that is less than one year old.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This refrigerator had to be replaced in less than 3 years of use. I am very disappointing with LG appliances as first my stove had to be repaired after a little over 1 year of use and now my refrigerator had to be replaced. Never had I had this happen before with other brands. Now I am stuck with LG appliances and all my kitchen appliances are LG and I don't like mix match.

Biggest piece of garbage I've ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3 years old and we're considering replacing it due to all the repairs and problems. Ice machine sucks, energy usage is the same as other fridges, we've had 7 repairs in 3 years and it's constantly making weird noises, which are just lead-ups to another repair. Do NOT buy this refrigerator.

Rusts and Ice Maker Not working well very early

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this extremely high priced fridge & haven't been overall impressed. It does have great features such as the single open press button door on the front but for a stainless steel refrigerator it is poor quality. It has rusted very quickly as well as the ice maker has froze up and been in poor quality since very early on in our purchase

Love the Door inside Door. Great Lighting Too!

Now that we have the refrigerator in good working order so far it has been amazing. Our mother board had gone out and because of shipping and appointments with the repair man and after about 2-1/2 months of switching out parts they finally found the problem, the refrigerator has so far been GREAT! As of right now YES I would by another refrigerator from LG! We love the door inside door feature. Lighting is excellent! Lots and Lots of space. Ice machine so far has kept up with our demands. Very happy in Wyoming! Thanks LG!!!

I LOVE my new LG fridge!!

I can't say enough about how much I love this fridge. LOTS of room, very well though out. Very well lit inside. The door-in-door feature is awesome! This fridge is SO easy to clean and keep organized. If I had to name one thing I don't like (and it's the ONLY thing I don't like) it would be the stainless steel exterior shows EVERY little thing. Which is a teensy bit annoying. But a quick swipe with a damp cloth and it's taken care of. I'll put up with a few fingerprints to have the other fabulous features of this fridge. :-)

Best Refrigerator Ever

Having had numerous refrigerators over the years, I can honestly say this is my dream refrigerator. My husband and I love all the features and we can't decide which one is best...the door in door, the drawers in the freezer compartment, the water and ice dispenser, the large pull-out drawer in the fresh food section or the amount of room we now have or the well-lit interior. We are so pleased with this purchase and even though we bought it in November 2012, we are still excited with this appliance. We just can say enough. Everything is now so organized; we can see all items in the fresh food section, and have the freezer organized so nicely we don't forget what we have. Just love it!!!

This is the refrigerator you've been waiting for!! Not only is it spacious but also SUPER QUIET!! Good for those like me that sometimes sleep during the day while working the night shift and need to have peace and quiet during the day. I live in the woods so little noises can be a big nuisance as opposed to someone living in the city. I only wish the freezer were a little bigger otherwise this fridge is the best invention ever!!
