The whole family thinks it's great

We purchased the LG French Door Refrigerator because our family has grown up and need more shelf space. Every time someone needed something, they would reorganize a shelf to get something out. This refrigerator is wide open and easy to see most items. The quick access door for common items is another excellent option for my family as milk and juice drinks are constantly used.

Stylish and roomy

Had a few months now. Love the French door as we are always reaching for milk and juice and not having to open the whole door (as they are rather large) keeps the coolness inside. Only have to adjust interior shelves to accommodate bottles of juice and other taller bottles. Also the inside door shelves are quite narrow and the ice cube tray is small with smaller cubes. Love all the freezer space and handy drawers. But, all in all, I'm happy with the product.

Seems to maintain temperature

I like the way the refrigerator is extremely quiet just like promised. I would like more room for the refrigerated items--in particular--- produce. The crispers (as in most refrigerators) are not large enough or deep enough to carefully store the produce. The humidity control lever (which slides back and forth) sometimes ends up moving to the "low" setting if you accidentally rub against it by mistake. It would be better if it took more effort because it slides almost too easily. For my purposes, I don't need a freezer anywhere near that large, but for people with large families I suppose it's a great feature. I knew in advance that it was like that, but at the time there were no models by any manufacturer that offered an option where the customer had the option to change a particular drawer to either "freezer" or "frig" temperature. Unfortunately for me, right after I purchased the LG, 2 manufacturers came out with models that did offer that feature. Of course, the L.G. frig. shows the finger prints (just like I knew it would), but I was told to purchase the stainless steel spray cleaner. I did do that , and when I take the time to use it, it does seem to make it look better. I thought I wanted the door in door feature, but for me, it was probably a waste of money. Perhaps it's a great feature for families with kids who drink beverages. I do like the way the ice maker is built in to the side of the frig. so you don't see it. I can't say anything about the ice maker or any of the water or ice dispensers because I've never used either one of them. However, an occasional visitor has used it, and no one complained. I drink my own special room temperature water which is why I never drank the filtered water or used ice from the frig. In conclusion, what I like best about the frig. is how quiet it is because I hate noise.

Lots of Room

I love the design inside and out. The storage compartments help keep things organized and the drawer feature allows you extra freezer space if you need it. The two drawers in the freezer are wonderful to keep your bulky items separated. The door in door feature we use all the time for the items that we use frequently. The one improvement that can be made is the ice maker feature. The ice compartment does not hold a lot of ice and the express feature to make ice does not make ice fast enough. Our old GE fridge had an express feature and it would fill the ice container by the end of the day. This one takes 24hrs or longer and that's the express. So if its ice your looking for you wont get it with this one and for the price you pay for this fridge you may want to think twice.

I love the door in the door! So convenient and handy. The three shelves in the freezer is great - makes it so easy to get to what I want. Large capacity everything! My favorite appliance in my kitchen. Love this fridge!

Superb design, functionality and looks beautiful in our kitchen! The contractor that built our home installed appliances (microwave, dishwasher, stove) prior to us purchasing our home. We finished the kitchen suite by purchasing this refrigerator and couldn't be happier with each product. This refrigerator has tons of storage space, cools effectively and each feature functions exactly as designed/advertised. The ice and water dispenser work perfectly and do not drip! I love the fact the water dispenser is designed to allow users to easily fill large pitchers, etc. The trays in the freezer are very nice and it is divided up very smartly. Superb product at a very reasonable price. Thanks LG!

Door in Door is awesome

What's not to like ? Nothing. Large user friendly refrigerator and roll out 3 drawer freezer. The Key feature has to be the "Door in Door". Real convenience and energy savings at the push of a button. Unit is (6) cubic feet larger than previous unit, in virtually the same space. At the end of the day...Wife is happy, so I'm happy !!!
