Our family has had this refrigerator since April 2013 and the only complaint I have with it is the compressor, when it comes on it has a high pitch noise for which I have found hurts my ears, it doesn't seem to bother the rest of the family though. So before you purchase have them turn it on and see if the one you are buying does the same thing.
We do love the French door style over the side-by-side which we had for 10 years. We are counting on the LG to last even longer.

This refrigerator replaced an Electrolux that was less than 2 years old. The design is excellent especially having the ice maker in the door, which gives move space in the refrigerator section. I also really think the two door design for beverages is an excellent idea. I had the fridge for almost 8 months now, with no issues.

SPACE, SPACE AND MORE SPACE!!! With a 4 yr old and 2 teenage boys, we need to store alot of food, and now we can! Easy to clean and I love it that it chimes when my 4 yr old forgets to close it! I think it is indestructable! Highly recommend this refridgerator. This will go with me if we ever sell our house!

My LG Refig

My husband and I argued over which refrigerator to buy,but when we saw the LFX31945ST we fell in love with it...it was like looking into a Space Ship! the lights, the space to hold everything, it was beautiful.
My husband,still stays up just to open the doors and look inside. The food stays colder longer, the ice maker and water is such a convinenence. BEST BUY, EVER.

We have been using this new appliance for 32 day now and really appreciate the features & usefulness of this appliance over our previous refrigerator!
The only problem we have noticed is that sometimes the Ice Maker won't dispense ice without having to remove the Ice Maker basket and removing some of the ice on top then reinserting.
Other than that, we are highly pleased with this new refrigerator.
