The only major complaint I have about this product is that I had to take out a shelf because we have too many tall items to fit in the area where the shelf slides back. I made the mistake of thinking about how much that shelf that I packed away cost because of how much the refrigerator cost. :) I love the fact that I can now see everything we have. I'll never own another side by side again. Our 5 year old grandson loves his "Landon" door. All in all, I'm happy with his purchase. I've read some scary reviews about it so I guess time will tell. Hopefully it will last 20 years like my last one! Wishful thinking huh. LOL

Good Refrigerator compare to my old one

this is a good design product, nice inside light, easier and convenience double door design.
one thing I hope the designer change design in the future is for the fresh zone bottom box, it's too long, if it can be designed into two boxes will be easier to pen, cause current design require both door to be opened.
Also for the water/ice dispenser, there is only light for the ice, but no light for water, so if add one more LED light above the light dispenser, will be easier for people to see if the cup filled.
For the freeze zone, if add more drawing box might be easier, the current box is too big, if filled with stuff, kind of hard to dig out.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings

Great fridge, but a few annoyances

Overall, it's a great unit. The biggest drawback is that large plate for the water dispenser sticks and water continues to dispense after the cup has been removed. It also scratches easily leaving rather ugly.
The ice maker makes tiny cubes and the dispenser gets clogged easily. Not to mention that it's capacity is too small, so they give you an extra bin below to store extra cubes when you run out. This takes away from the large capacity that is advertised.
The large "LC" compressor logo on the front is just downright ugly.
On the good side, it is very large, very bright and offers versatile shelf design and layout.
Pros: easy to use, Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This refigerator has a great amount of storage, unique lighting and styling. However, the shelves are a little tight for tall items like a gallon of milk, quart creamers ..... Those items can fit in the door shelves but those are limited in space. I had to adjust the shelves but by doing this the other shelves became even tighter. I am sure I can live with this. I love the low use of energy and the ten year warranty on the compressor.

After looking and looking at every fridge built I was so impressed with they way LG built this one. The drawers roll out so smooth, the lighting is amazing and with so much room I will have no problem thawing my turkey the way your supposed to do it.Love all the drawer space in the fridge but especially in the freezer compartment.Love the door in door feature for all the quick grab items the kids always seems to need.Only thing I think they need to add is a dual ice maker. The one on the door just doesnt seem to keep up with my family during the summer months.

Great Refrigerator

Replaced my old maytag refrigerator with the LG LFX31945ST. Great refrigerator, lots of room well placed shelves third door saves energy as you don't have to open whole refrigerator to get milk and other drinks. This refrigerator is pricey but worth it!!
