THIS IS THE BEST

We have been using this refrigerator for about 4 months and we love it. The door in door is great for getting out products we use a lot elimination loosing energy by opening the bigger door. The accross the refrigerator drawer is a good feature as it will accommadate large pizzas that normally do not fit in a regular french door refrigerators. This feature is also great in the freezer too. I have added some small baskets in the freezer section which allows me to keep products more easily accessable such as vegetables in one, chicken in another etc. We adjusted the tempatures according to the recommended degrees for better preservation of products. Ice and water in door are very convient. I have owned many refrigerators ove the last 50 years and find this one to be the Best we've ever had

First we had a refrigerator that wouldn't hold temp. Had LG repair look at it. He said we needed a thermistor. He might have to cut wires. We said NO. Send us a new fridge. After much wrangling, LG sent us a new Fridge.
With the new fridge, same problem, repair man said need new thermistor, again. Replaced thermistor. The fridge is operating better, but still temerature variations within the cabinet, left to right and top to bottom. Set temperature on door to 35 degrees, and freezer to -3. That has helped maintiain the inside temp between 37 and 40. It seems to me the cooling system is not sized correctly for the size of the box. Inside the grab and go compartment the temperature is always less cool than the box. Another engineering problem.
I must say with all the temperature variations, we love the fidge. The layout, the lighting and the storage is well thought out.

This fridge has everything! Door in door is great, plenty of room for storage and we really like the water dispenser and ice maker. Can't go wrong buying this fridge!!

I am pleased with this refrigerator - cooling ability, spacious, different sections, lighting, quietness.
The only thing I need to get used to is the need to open both main doors to put in or take out items that are not just a simple bottle or jar, such as a casserole dish.

One of the best refrigerators we have had.
Far better than even some of the most pricey refrigerators.
A generation ahead of everything we have seen on the market.
The slim icemaker and the door in door sold us, even though we didn't need a new one. We bought it anyway and now we have 7.
The large size and efficient working space, will soon cancel out some of the others.

I just bought it April 2013, so far so good. Just emailed Lg about concern when sliding in the bottom freezer. The warranty is sealed the deal for me. I hope i can count on LG for quality and reliability. I hope it last me for a decent lenght of time. I hope I can update positive review in the future. I wish the shelf is more adjustable for taller pots.
