We purchase the large door n door lg refrigerator about 4 months ago we fell in love with the new design and this was a major purchase for us as we were replacing our 15 year old refrigerator. I noticed the drinks we kept in the door were not very cold our milk started spoiling so I turn down the temp. hoping this would help I am sorry to say Milk spoiled again so I now keep my dairy in the refrigerator. I am disappointed because the reason I like the door n door was so we would not be opening the door all the time to get a drink of Milk. I have to say my old refrigerator stored the Milk in the door and it was ice cold there was air coming from the freezer into the door LG should look into doing something like this. I wouldn't purchase this model again
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Top Notch

We recently upgraded from an 8 year old side-by-side of the same dimensions to this french door model (with a lot more cu ft space!) & couldn't be happier. Everything about it is stellar. One of the nicest features is the LED lighting that illuminates the WHOLE refrigerator... really! The other is the slim in door ice-maker. Nice ice & plenty of it. And of course the door-in-door; handy access to beverages! The only thing I might add is another divider or two in the large freezer drawer. Hard to believe the Energy Star rating says this fridge will run on less than $40 per year.
This refrigerator has lot of room and runs very quiet. I just had it for month and it works great. It has lots of settings and can be adjusted as per your requirement. Only problem I had so far is the ice dispenser which some time gets jam on the top and stops the ice maker from making any more ice. Also I wish the ice storage could have been little bigger than it is.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

This LG refrigerator has everything that we need! The features, bells and whistles are all worth it. The "two-door" access feature is awesome and efficient, there is plenty of room, and the freezer compartment below the normal refrigerator space is excellent. Ice, water, temperature controls, alarm system if door is left open, etc. etc. are awesome. And love the stainless steel appearance, clean and sleek!
Pros: easy to use, Features/Settings

Convenient Features but some getting use too

The door in door is nice however it takes a bit to get use too. I occasionally open the door in door when I meant to open the door or vice versa. For the unaware, the water dispenser also has a "getting wet" learning curve. Every guest that has used it has got wet at least once. If these are the only issues I cannot complain, everything about it has functioned as it should, the temperature seems to remain consistent in both the refrigerator and freezer, the storage space is ample enough that sometimes it looks empty, and the vegetable and fruit drawers work wonders. However, if I did not get this on a great deal I highly doubt I would have paid the retail cost for it, while the features are nice, I find it hard to justify the price.

This refrigerator is the best. I really like the inside door. It saves a lot of energy when you put the most used things in there. It saves time too. The bottom freezer is nice because it has a lot of compartments so that items do not get lost. I would buy this refrigerator again and again.

Love everything about it

This fridge is wonderful! I love the "door in a door" feature. It gets a lot of use.
I also love the open door alarm. My 85 yr old mother lives with us, and she constantly leaves the door open. The alarm saves us!
very easy to organize different food sizes. ice maker is slow, so if you are planning on using a lot of ice, fill the special ice tray in freezer for back up.
