Beautiful but quality is poor

Love the look and organization of this fridge. We revcieved it in Jan of 21. We have had problems with the top drawer of the freezer front falling off but it is livable. Now the fridge lights no longer work with the ice maker. First board in drawer replaced with no correction of problem second board on order. Now forge is buzzing. Not a good sign. I would think for the price point it would have lasted longer We are just out of the warranty unfortunately. We have the entire suite and now are looking at replacement
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

shelves can't be at same height beside each other

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My second version of this model. first lasted about 8 years. my first fridge i could have a shelf at the height without issue. this newer model you have to have the shelf in different heights. i liked having the top shelves the same height across the fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have owned/used for about 1 month & so far so good. We love the lights,separate compartments & ice dispenser. But don't like the water dispenser's delay when you remove glass. It always squirts a little into the compartment.

Buyer beware

I currently own this refrigerator and after 3 years and approximately 5 months the cooling system has gone out completely.
I believe the compressor and the evaporator have to be replaced.
However Whirlpool which is the Bearing Company has given this product of 5-year parts and labor for those parts that I mentioned.
This is now at least the second whopool product the first product was a Jennair refrigerator which the company replaced for me.
The actual lifespan of the two refrigerators is less than 6 years collectively.

Bad luck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacement for comparable unit. New unit has noisy compressor sound. Doors / drawers alignment poor. After installation team work, and a follow up team effort... situation remains. I expected more from a Kitchenaid product for nearly four thousand dollars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
