[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the refrigerator about 3 weeks ago and in the first three weeks I had to clean up water from the kitchen floor. There appears to be a cracked plastic catch tray underneath refrigerator. We will find tomorrow as a repair service is coming to check it out. High questionable quality.

Good features but problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new fridge periodically makes a buzzing noise. The technician has been out 2 times and is scheduled for a third call. The water dispenser has started leaking and we have had to turn the ice maker off as well as unhappy the water to the fridge. We hope the dealer can get it fixed. We are starting to wonder if we have a lemon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hope it lasts longer then our last one!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It started out great except for a couple of dents on a door an scrapes on the plastic. This morning it started making some strange noises that the last didn’t. Let’s hope it can last longer than 7+ years. A lot of interior parts have been made cheaper. The only good thing is that the price price didn’t go up much.

Complete waste of money

This thing is an absolute piece of junk. The water flow in the door is incredibly slow. The ice maker randomly keeps making ice when the door is closed so when you open it, ice spills out everywhere. The seals on the door ripped in the first year. The front of the lower freezer drawer broke within a year. The 'soft close' doesn't let the drawers close all the way most of the time so you have to actually give it a push to make sure it closes. Within the last 3-4 months the freezer leaks water all over the floor about twice a week. What a total disappointment!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love all the drawers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new refrigerator. We have had it about 2 months now. Love the extra drawers for produce and “catch all” drawer. Also, we love the 3 drawer in the freezer. It is makes finding foods in the freezer so much easier. I do like the platinum color inside, I thought it might be too dim, but it is easy on the eyes. Overall we are very happy with our Kitchen-aid refrigerator. Our previous refrigerator was a Kitchen-aid as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lighted and user friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator to replace a side-by-side. There are benefits to each design. I don't have as much door storage as the old one, but I have many options. I removed a shelf in the main conpartment to allow for the taller items like milk and juices. The crisper drawers open independent of the main compartment and all are nicely lit for easy use. The freezer has three sections and I may remove a drawer to make room for bulkier items. It depends on your personal preferences but since you can make adjustments, it's a nice appliance.
