wish ice maker was bigger

Love the extra features

With the extra drawers that you can open for fresh fruit and vegetables it saves energy because the big doors aren’t opened every time someone is looking for a snack. The extra drawers in the freezer are a big plus too!

Fridge is doing nice so far

This fridge is great, Love it so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this fridge for about 6 months and so far it works very well. I am single and not a huge cook so probably won't dig into it as much as a family of 5 would. Since the Covid, I have been cooking and eating at home more and decided to get a better fridge this time around, I just bought a new home too. It has way more than enough room for what I need and everything is easy to reach (I'm short). Love the deli and produce drawers, you don't need to open the main fridge as much. It's a monster size fridge, my kitchen had to be built around the fridge. I just changed the filter after 6 months, it was easy. I love the water dispenser, use it all the time for water and ice. Definitely top line fridge. I would recommend mostly if you are a serious cook, have a big family or have the extra bucks to splurge otherwise get something more basic. My other basic Whirlpool fridge lasted me for over 22 years, I hope this one will last as long. No glitches yet.

I bought this refrigerator two years ago. The stainless steel has rusted in several places on the front. The ice maker is so slow it cannot keep up with two people . The refrigerator itself works great, live the space configuration. The freezer is also grest.

LED feature

I bought this 4 years ago. All the LED lights went out and water feature did not work. Turns out some water had leaked into the temp control on the drawer and shorted this all out. This feature is not secure and lets moisture leak through. Why put a water feature above this if it wasn’t a tight secure….it was really difficult to find the cause and warranted a service call. The web address given is out of order and it is next to impossible to talk to anyone at Kitchenaid. Just kept getting recordings and finally had to hang up. Customer service was just terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
