Leaks! Leaks! Leaks!

We replaced this refrigerator 3 times in 2 years and now the 3rd one is now leaking after 4 years. The ice maker door seal has started leaking, similar to previous one. I love the storage it provides, but not worth risking the potential issues that comes with it nor the price tag.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought four appliances, had three worked on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had lots of issues. They can’t get the doors to line up properly. Very disappointing. We have had loud noises from compressor they have fixed it 3 times now. Broken hinge closers. Just would like it replaced. We bought your line of kitchen appliances because we believed they were top of the line. Would like you to please contact us from corporate to resolve this . Thanks much

Horrible Fridge - Don't Buy

I have had this fridge a little over 3 years now. Good thing I bought the extended warranty since I have had issues every 6 month or less. It started off with the ice maker and then it morphed into other issues. Both the upper and lower evaporator coil fans had to be changed multiple times. Now, the drip pan is leaking causing water to get into the freezer section forming icicles, and then it would melt into the kitchen floor leaving a puddle.
Worst Fridge I have ever owned.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible product, horrible customer service

kitchenaid refrigerator model KRMF706ESS01 continuousy breaks down after 3 yrs.
the ONLY service provider in Miami, Flamingo appliance, unable or unwilling to accomodate the customer who cannot be home until after 1 pm.
avoid kitchenaid and anything made by whirlpool, who does not provide quality customer service on their products.

Worst Refrigerator I've Ever Owned.

I am absolutely disgusted that I paid so much for this fridge only to have it be a giant piece of junk. Seriously. I'm currently trying to get a third party warranty claimed filed because the following things are wrong with my refrigerator: Ice not dispensing, shelves not level and rusting, control panel on left drawer not working, lights in the freezer not working, top fridge lights dim, shelf lighting sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, broken drawer front in freezer and a few other minor things. I've had this fridge for 5 years and it didn't even get installed until 4 years ago when we finished a restoration of our kitchen. I bought KitchenAid appliances because I thought they were the best. This refrigerator must be a defective unit because for 4 years of normal use, this thing is garbage. So upset. Don't buy this.

My Dream Refrigerator turned into a Mightmare!!!

Outrageous price but such a beautiful refrigerator. This has been the worst purchase of my life. First we had to remove the wood frame around the kitchen door to fit it in. Remember this if nothing else. Icemaker chooses to work several times a year. No telling when it will work. Every month we have to cut it off overnight to 'thaw' out the back that apparently freezes and starts making a humming noise. If we don't catch it in time the ice, that we make in trays and put in the dispenser, melts and water runs all over the floor. We did replace the seal on the freezer because it would not stay attached. What a nightmare. I got a KitchenAid because my dishwasher was was a KitchenAid and the BEST appliance I ever owned. NEVER AGAIN. Do not waste your money.

Don’t plan on keeping food in there for very long!

We purchased this refrigerator about five years ago. We even purchased the extended warranty from the place where we purchased it. We have had nothing but problems. We have had to have it serviced 3 times and it still does not stay cold like it should. At this point we are past the extended warranty, and unfortunately cannot afford to purchase a new one at this time. For the price you pay for KitchenAid, I expected it to last WAY longer than it should have.
