Practical Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very practical design. It allows you to open just the drawer or one of the doors to retrieve or put items in the refrigerator. The bottom freeze has two drawers and very convenient to use. The middle drawers are self closing. I wish we had this style before.

Came with a problem. KitchenAid can't fix it

The fridge looks good. But it has a problem with the water dispenser. 3 technician came out to try to solve it but they couldn't. After all these trials, the fridge was no longer under warranty and know they want me to pay for service for them to come out and try again. The original problem was communicated 3 months after purchase and no one from their experienced technician can solve it. Yet, it can not be replaced or services for free. I am very disappointed and will not go for Kitchen-aid appliances in my kitchen. I was purchasing the dishwasher, microwave and electric range but put all on hold. SO DISAPPOINTED. BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU BUY.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too Much Noise For the Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s not a cheap fridge. So the basic functions that you would expect are there. The water and ice dispenser makes way too much noise. It is very loud. It runs out of cold water after about 2 glasses and if like cold water you need to wait or add ice. The fridge MUST be on a perfectly leveled floor. The tiniest imbalance will cause it to make a constant horrendous buzzing and humming noise. I submitted a request for help online over 10 days ago and I still have t heard back. We finally figured it out and moved the fridge a bit and it got quieter. So, yeah the fridge works and it has nice drawers and compartments but it is noisy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

very big, drawers no big deal

Had this frig for about 8 years. I am 5 feet tall. I can not reach the back of the top shelf. The drawers do not help keep the veggies fresher, if anything they wilted faster. Freezer is nice size. Door do not match up very well. Ice maker no longer working/leaks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My dream fridge!

Love having a drawer for dairy and meat only and a drawer for just veggies! Love that it came with a little keep-fresh crisper thjng, and the freezer having 3 shelves is awesome! You cannot go wrong with this fridge!

I love the extra storage space that the bottom freezer has along w/the extra drinks and/or fruit drawer that can support everything my family of 4 look for in a fridge.

Best Refrigerator Ever

I'm able to store more food than previously, and the design (sliding shelves in the freezer, and the produce and deli drawers and ice maker) allow me to see everything without shifting items

For the most part this refrigerator is great when its functioning properly. Problem is that when the compressor failed Kitchenaid does not have a certified service tech who can replace the compressor.... Going on three months of getting the run around from their "service tech" and just found out he cannot repair the unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
