Loved it so much I bought it twice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently moved to a new home leaving behind our Kitchenaid refrigerator of this style but in stainless steel. Once we were able we replaced our refrigerator in our new home to this one because we loved our old one so much. I however, wanted the black stainless and it matched our home better. I love the look against natural lighting and the black stainless is much more resistant to smudges and finger prints.
I would recommend this to a friend!

High-end, high quality: worth the $$

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new frig! Clear drawers make it easy to see everything easily. Sturdier hardware makes all rollers and door/drawer opening smooth and it just feels solid and high quality. Different from any other refrigerator we've ever had. Awesome!!

Great features

Very little space inside. Looks great until you have it for a month. Even worse, I have now had to replace the fridge, due to faulty Freon lines from the factory. Yet if you do not buy the extended warranty after a few months you’re out of luck. Unfortunately, the rest of my kitchen is full of kitchenaid appliances. They too, have been plaqued with issues. To those buying any of their stuff (except the blender), good luck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not buy!

I would never recommend this product, and I am generally a positive reviewer. After 2 years, the fridge went out. After having countless servicemen come out, they all said that it is a design flaw as the control panel is in the drawer underneath the water spout. Anytime some water drops down (which is very easy to do especially with children in the house), it falls into the control panel and causing the wires to go out. We have had to fix the wires twice then eventually get a new control panel/drawer. After we did that, the lights went out, the ice maker went out, and the freezer stopped freezing which we were told were all separate issues. He said this happens a lot with this Kitchenaid fridge. Steer clear of this fridge!

The Helicopter of refrigeration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is a lemon right out of the box. The freezer door doesn’t close tight, and the refrigerator makes an intermittent loud buzzing noise. If you like the annoying sound of a loud buzz this is the product for you. If you prefer peace and quiet consider an alternative. Also the return policy is only good for 15 days, unfortunately I’m stuck with this piece of junk.

Not as good as we perceived

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this refrigerator 11 months ago. We have had nothing both problems from the moment we took possession of this appliance. In less than 90 days we had to call Kitchenaid to send out a technician to fix a problem with our center doors-vegetable drawers (door 3 on the left side) since it did not completely close. He noted that the plastic tracks were broken and it would take a few days to receive replacement parts (it took 2 weeks). At the 6 month point we had condensation in the refrigerator portion (top part of the appliance), at the 11 month mark we had to replace the following components adapter JT (W10864519); fan motor JT (W11087438); sealer-gum JT (W10688359) and the ice door kit (W10919724). We have not been able to use this appliance for 2 weeks. Now the technician is returning because the water dispenser is not working and we again have condensation. This appliance is not good (maybe we just got a lemon), I do not recommend that anyone purchase.
