[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My use is to primarily to select the Start add 1 minute button. it takes twice as long generally to heat things. if direction state 2.5 minutes it will need 5 minutes in this oven. its 220A service.

TERRIBLE- DOESN'T WORK AFTER DELIVERY!! READ THIS!

6/26/27- It was delivered and when plugged it didn't turn on... was told we could not get a new one and had to have service come and look at it. They use certain repair companies and they can't get out for over a week.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

KitchenAid Built-in Microwave

warning requires 220 connection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read all the information in the brochures for this microwave online. Nowhere did I see mentioned that it required a 220 line. We were moving along having installed the wall oven, thinking we could just slide this in and go. Imagine our surprise on opening the box at seeing a 220 line instead of a plug. That made the installation a lot more difficult. The installer had to run a line up from the basement through the wall. Also had to go to an electrical supply house to get a circuit breaker wire and connectors.
As for the microwave itself. It would be nice if there were more demos on how to use the features.
One negative- the interior of the microwave is stainless steel. Food splatters leave spots that do not come off like they do on a plastic lined microwave

Great unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The paint was coming off the bottom of my old microwave where the turntable rests so I decided on this unit with stainless interior and exterior. Bought this and installed it myself about a month ago. Easy install on the unit other than a little work to install the 240V wiring needed. Good installation instructions. Unit operates great. Convection oven does cook very even and quicker than standard oven. Quiet. On screen operating controls are simple and intuitive. And the convection oven will certainly help out come holidays when I need the extra oven. Would definitely recommend this convection/microwave if you need an new microwave. And it just looks great.
