Worth the long wait!

The long Wait Almost deducted one star!
Only downside was the 16 1/2 month wait from order to install. I went in for a refund, only to hear it was finally shipping the next week!!

Absolutely loved the 2000 version of the Superba convention microwave. Sadly it developed broil button issues after 20 years of use, and parts weren’t available. The predecessor had 3 different cook modes convection bake, Superba (Crisp on the new one) and microwave.
So I knew the great features of the microwave/convection cooking and small convection oven for baking. Haven’t tried the Steaming basket, my old one didn’t have that feature; but can’t wait to try it.
I didn’t notice this model no longer had a mode for the broiler element only. Guess garlic bread will still have to go in air fryer or large oven for a large crowd.
Not sure I will ever use the steamer function as often as I did the broiler.
Added the full convection oven and warming drawer in new 2010 kitchen addition, and at that time the style was a perfect match. This model has the ‘commercial’ looking handles I wanted but didn’t splurge for. Wish I could justify getting a matching oven and warmer drawer.
The new model is 2” shorter than the 2001 model and feels small inside. Lucky my cabinet maker is still in business to make a filler for the gap.
Only had it installed for couple of weeks, and loving it! Didn’t realize how much I missed it.

Best Microwave Ever!

It warms food perfectly, no over cooked tough edges. The defrost is perfect! I steamed big sweet potatoes in 5 mins! Ima home chef and very particular this is a great tool for my kitchen. Very happy with this product.

And have not been able to use it once. Due to a defective part. Blown off by the dealer and part on back order. Finally we think someone is coming tomorrow to fix
