Great oven, but long wait!

However, the months I waited for it on back order along with warming drawer and the wait I am still waiting for crisper trey is outrageous. I don’t understand how a great company like kitchenaid allows these service issues to damage their brand.

Could have better features

I bought this microwave about 1 year ago. Its ok, but for the high price, it could be better. I had a Whirlpool Convection microwave previously that performed great over a 6 year period, so for this brand and price, i really expected the same performance. Even tho I am a generally keep my kitchen neat and tidy, the stainless is hard to keep clean and fingerprint free on the outside. The interior is hard to keep clean as well. The first time I used the Convection, a splatter occurred that I still cannot remove, even with the recommended cleaner from Kitchenaid. Over time it has faded, but I certainly think twice before using the Convection feature. The display panel does not light up when pressed, so if you want to use the microwave at night, you have to turn on a ceiling light to read the display. There is no 30-second quick button. One minute is really too long for a quick warm up. I bought all Kitchenaid appliances for our new home in 2024. If I had the opportunity to do it again, I would not choose Kitchenaid. All the appliances could have better features and be easier to keep fingerprint free. Altho, for the dishwasher, I have no issues with it.

Quick start for one minute is malfunctioning

When we use the start button to get one minute, sometimes it starts right up but most often the screen shows Start? We then hit start and it repeatedly shows Start? Once this is resolved, we will be thrilled!

Lemon microwave possibly?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If we just close the door normally and hit the start button the screen says "starting?". We have to stop and firmly press the door closed each time in order for it to start. Even with that, sometimes while it is cooking a multi-minute item it will just stop when you aren't looking . .. and then that item ends up not being on the same schedule as other items on the stove or grill, etc. . . .otherwise, seems like a very nice machine. First repair was not successful . . .another attempt is scheduled 10 days out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Defective door
