Love the easy convention

addition to our new kitchen

It was part of a complete package of Kitchenaid products. We love the commercial look and the features are incredible. We are still learning how to use all the features of the microwave but are very excited to learn and cook new items in it.

Great product, loud turn table

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this microwave/oven a few months ago and finally got it installed and used it in my new kitchen. I am loving all the different features and accessories that can with it, including the steamer bowl and the crisp pan. However I only give it three stars because when using the microwave it is very loud. The glass turn table klink's and is loud if the turn table is on. I am not sure if this is a malfunction or it's just loud a poor design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our microwave oven with convection cooking installed for about 5 months now. I wasn't sure how I would like an in-island microwave that I have to bend over to open, but I love it! I like how soft and easy it is to press the control buttons, and the easy 1-minute button. I have not tried the convection cooking yet. The only thing we do not like is that the fan keeps blowing after the microwave is done, and even though the timer beeps, our brain doesn't really think it's done. The timer beeps, but because the "fan" or "sound of cooking/heating" continues, we don't really realize it's done, and sometimes come back to our food when it's cool again. It's something we are learning to get over. The design is sleek - I love that I went with black stainless steel. It's super easy to clean. The only part of the design that I was not aware of before purchasing was the red color on each end of the handle. It seems a little strange, but nothing too bad. Overall we are VERY happy with our purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seriously no light in the microwave?

This microwave is practically useless without a light. You don't realize how important a light is until you don't have it. The cheapest microwaves on the market have a light inside, and this incredibly expensive microwave does not. I do not recommend this for anyone.

There are better microwaves in the market

It does not have a simple feature to add 30 seconds to an ongoing timer!
But with what feature it has, it functions well. Crisper is probably the best
