Powerful and Easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had some concerns about the heavier front opening door of the microwave compared to a more conventional side opening door, that's not been an issue at all. As a plus, the controls of the microwave are really easy to learn and use. The controls are laid out in a logical fashion and make sense for what we do.

Greatest appliance ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very expensive for a microwave and we thought the oven features might be just average but we were wrong. This is THE BEST appliance ever and worth every penny. The oven features work better than our Thermador and the softening and crispy features work perfectly. Can’t believe they pulled off a Microwave that converts to an oven, but the did! If we moved, we would take it with us.

Perfect!

We just renovated our entire kitchen and put in all new KitchenAid appliances because when we asked the appliance sellers what they had in their kitchens the answer was almost always KitchenAid. I love this microwave, it cooks everything perfectly. Evan microwave pizza actually comes out with perfectly melted cheese and a crispy (not soggy) crust!

Defective - Multiple Problems with New Unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After being installed the unit would not operate without pushing on the door. The door is misaligned and there is a noticeable "pimple" in the stainless steel on the door which appears to have been caused from the inside of the door. Very poor build quality and Q/C.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I love this microwave, however it is beyond frustrating that it does not come with detailed instructions and I could not find a link online. After an extensive chat I was able to have it emailed to me. I prefer printed instructions and I think that should be provided. These appliances are expensive.

Disappointing for the Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased microwave about 4 months ago, and for the price, we are not very satisfied. There are two key issues: 1) The microwave did not come with an instruction manual, which is absurd given the multiple functionalities of the unit and the price. 2) The interior light does not always go off when you close the unit, as apparently the button that turns off the light when the microwave door is closed has not been designed properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not worth it!

I hit the start button and it will cancel what I’m trying to do, it happens at least 5 times a week. I’ve tried to contact support but cannot get through to anyone.If I could return to the builder I would. Save yourself the headache.

Bad Design

This built in microwave is the worst ever microwave for me. It came with my newly built home by Shea Homes in Chula Vista, CA. It is not user friendly and even worse that it is not the side opening door, so the door is all in your way from reaching things in the microwave, too bad I can't even get my kids to use this microwave unlike the one in my previous home. This does not heat up well, at 100%, it will take about 3.30minutes to fully pop a popcorn bag that says 1.45minutes. Another frustrating thing is that it is hard to clean when food splatters while warming, it's the worst cleaning experience trying to reach in between those coils which I am not sure one can remove to properly clean the inner roof.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
