Improvement over older model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace an older unit that died. So far we are very pleased with the performance. The microwave seems to be more powerful and we have really enjoyed the sensor steam function. Even baked potatoes at gratin, which browned beautifully. Only drawback is how very different the handle is from our other KitchenAid appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted a second oven when needed. This baked my casserole well. Microwave is not quite as powerful as my old one, but does the job. One thing to keep in mind is the pull down door. My microwave is fairly high & shorter people have to stand on a stool to use it. This would not be a problem with a traditional door, even though I love the door-matches other oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this microwave a couple months now. The convection oven feature is very convenient and works great. I use it a lot and it's easy for cooking a quick meal. The microwave itself works fine, just is not as powerful as my old microwave, so I have to plan for adding additional time and checking food to make sure it's hot enough when using the microwave.
