Purchased after having two machines of similar price, different manufacturers which just were made with seeming built in obsolesence. Too many large loads after a few years seemed to cause them to become permanently unbalanced. this is my first HE machine, and so far, so good. As others have posted elsewhere, I do regularly use the deep rinse option because I understand water efficiency as a goal, but I also want all vestiges of soap removed too. The spin cycle goes on WAY too long, I think even to save water, and I get the clothes out immediately so that wrinkles have not been pressed in and half dried. Ironing is not my favorite hobby. All in all, it seems like it's rock solid in its construction, and with a spin cycle like that, if it gets out of balance, I won't have a problem because it will lift off and go to the moon anyway (kidding). Good work, GE!
