I have the GE matching washer and have had it for a while with no issues. However, I just purchased the dryer in July and the GE repairman has been out 4 times to fix it. It makes a horrendous noise after 3 or 4 loads have been dried. They should just give me a new one but will not unless it is "unfixable." I'm sure it is a fluke, but clearly it is a lemon and should be replaced by GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this after trying to use a front loader for the past 4 years. I can't believe how much cleaner my clothes get with this machine. It also takes a lot less time to wash in this machine. Definitely recommend this machine.
