We moved into a brand new house with this brand new dryer and it has over heated or shorted out. I will trip the breaker and then I have to wait an hour or longer for it to cool down and work again. Its a real pain. I would expect a brand new dryer to work better than that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this dryer April 23, 2013. It broke June 24, 2014. Did not do an extended warranty. Not very happy.
