Excellent value, works great

Great Refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my bisque refrigerator died, I didn't have many options for replacing with the same color. I have been so pleased with this refrigerator though, love the spillproof glass shelves and the freshness center drawer. The quality of this unit is great and the price point was excellent.

Not for Large family but perfect for three

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I are caregivers, all three of us are senior citizens. The refrigerator is easily accessed and I appreciate the water/ice/temperature controls that are right up front. Also the alarm which sounds when a door is left open after a period of time.
The reason I commented on the appliance suitable for three was based solely on capacity. Should a housjold have two or three children (esp teens), I would suggest a larger capacity GE. The freezer on this unit is too small to stuff a number of frozen pizza in adition to other frozen goods. This is an energy effecient model which is one major reason we bought it. Based on the prices and features of various refrigerator brands. This model stood out smong the others. We recommend it.

Great appliance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge to replace a similar one that had come with the house we bought last year. I wanted a bisque to match other kitchen appliances, and GE had the best value, plus the features I needed. I love the ability to customize the shelf settings both on the doors and in the main part of the appliance itself. The crispers have great capacity. The only reason I rated "features" as good, rather than excellent is that the freezer door compartments are rather small and not very useful. I'd prefer something different, but not sure what. Otherwise, we love it.

Why did I wait so long?

Never had the icemaker or water dispenser before and I have heard horror stories but this frig is Heaven. From the finish to the adjustable shelves and the quietness, is all top notch. Good job GE.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say that this is the most quietest refrigerator I have ever owned! I also like the new exterior finish which is easier to keep clean. The water filter is also an improvement over my last model which didn't have one.

Huge Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The main selling point for me on this unit was the ability to set the actual temperature in the freezer and frig and them being independently controlled. I would have prefered the smaller frig but it was 50% more expensive for 20% less. But I am happly with my purchase. It took only 11 hours to come to temperature and runs quite. It to a few days to get used to the space management, it feels different than the standard top freezer frig. It would have been nice it they had designed a holder of the water filter plug, hope I put it where I can find it if I ever need it. Over all a good buy, I'd recommend it.
