These are by far the best in-ear headphones I've owned. As the title says, they are difficult to beat for in-ear buds. I can wear them for hours, almost forgetting that I am wearing them while providing a full rich and warm sound to all types of music. The bass response is lacking initially and needs some break-in time to get the low frequencies. My vote for the best in-ear buds around! Must have

Just received my N20U in-ear head phones, in a "splendid" packaging. Now, the sound is crisp, clear, and outstanding that puts you right in the location of wherever the music is being produced and played! Outstanding!

I have always used Shure in-ear monitors, and even had custom molds made for some of them. However, I bought a set of these N20U earbuds after being so happy with my AKG Q701 over-ear phones. I much prefer these to the Shure. My last set of Shure, the SE425, were not comfortable at all....they are too big and press against the ear, even with the custom molds they are uncomfortable. These N20s fit just right and you almost forget they are in. I compared them side by side to the 425s and I prefer the warmer sound of the N20s. These are my headphones of choice for on-the-go, while the 701's remain my favorite for at-home phones.

Engineered To My Liking.

based on my preference, this set of earbuds sounds pretty balanced. The bass is just right and not boomy. The mid range is excellent and the highs are pretty well blended in. This is the best earbuds I have ever had. Kudo to the engineers of AKG. Keep up the good work.

oddly uncomfortable

just bought this one yesterday, having issue with the shiny edge near the eartip keep scraping against my pinna. Am i wearing it wrong somehow? Since it seems im the only one with the problem. changing eartips doesnt help either.

Great features

The sound quality is what will sell these amazing sound buds. I tried them in my CD player, played Steely Dan "Aja" through them, and was amazed at how you could hear the different instruments and the separation. These are great.
