Overall, I like this freezer a lot. My only issue is that it has to be defrosted too often.

I bought this a month ago and so happy that I went with this. There were no reviews but based on my past experience with GE, I figured I could not go wrong. There were cheaper model from other companies available but when looked at the maintenance history, I went for this model. Less headache. You don't want your freezer to quit and spoil lot of food ......I happy with this, great looks, comes with 6 sturdy trays, efficient and QUITE.

I Bought This Deep Freezer (FCM16Jww) 3 mouths ago to replace the GE Deep Freezer That I Bought in 1996, eit ed was still working fine, just needed one with better Energy Consumption.

We bought this freezer to replace a GE Freezer that we bought 31 years ago, hoping to get that many years out of our new one.
New LED lighting makes it much easier to see items throughout the entire chest. The lightweight lid is easier to open than the older model.

The 2 tier basket system is great. There is room under the second row of baskets for a gallon of milk to stand upright. The baskets are just the right size to hold gallon freezer bags upright like a filing cabinet. So nice to "file" my meats rather than have to dig to the bottom of the basket. This one is to replace a 45 year old GE...quality counts.
