Good Headset

Was skeptical to buy initially because these were brand new to the US market (when I purchased) and there were not a lot of reviews to go by. However, I have been pleasantly surprised.
Sound quality is good (as should be expected from Sony)...well balanced audio with decent bass. The fit for me is perfect...it is like a hybrid on ear / over the ear but sufficient padding on both the top of the head and on the earphones make it really comfortable. I work out with Monster Freedom sweatproof headphones in the gym and compared to those these are like wearing pillows.
The noise cancelling piece is good...I feel like people expect noise cancelling to mean "hit the button and you don't hear anything else but silent tranquility." That is not the case but also not my expectation....
Where it does work awesome is when I have the headphones on either working within the home or on an airplane. Turn the sound or music on, activate noise cancelling, and all TV, engine noise, and voices are drowned out #my wife hates this#.

My only bit of frustration is that they don't include a protective pouch with the headset #leather bag or case# which every other headset in the $200 price range does. PS...they also don't have one to sell you #which I tried# so now I begin the 3rd party search for a case that fits.
For someone who wants quality audio, wireless, noise-cancelling, premiumness, and style #side note: there should be an age limit on who can wear Beats by Dre# you can NOT beat these for $200.

Very nice Headset

These headsets are extremely light and feels very light in the head. The NFC is very convenient when connecting to other devices that support NFC. The sound quality is also very good! I would have to agree with other users who comment on the foam being very hard and cause some discomfort around the earlobes after using for extended periods. That said, I guess in order for the NC function to work the headset needs to be fixed against the ear to block out unwanted sounds. Also, considering the different head / ear shapes that exist across different users there is a fine line between what is perfect for some but a little uncomfortable for others... therefore the 4 stars.
I did have some trouble with FEDEX and the delivery of this package, but Sony's customer service guys did their very best to make sure my problem was resolved and I was happy.

Great pair of headphones

These are an awesome pair of headphones. The bass is great and the noise canceling works great too. They fit your head very comfortably. I like them so much I bought a second pair for my daughter.

Love the sound and the features, Dislike the fit

I absolutely love how these sound and they have not had the time to properly break in yet (other said there sounded much better after about 40 hrs of use) These are awesome Use on large factory floor while programming to block out machinery sound and listen to tunes. Ears get very warm after about an hour and start to hurt after about 2 hours. I really wish these were over the ear. If so, I could wear all day. Sounds better than Bxxts Bluetooth headphones with much broader frequency range. As good noise cancelling as the high end Bxse with in my opinion better sound too. I have very sensitive hearing so I can detect subtle details that others miss. I would give it 10 stars if I could and if they would make these over the ear. I have used about 10 hours now on its first charge. Range seems to be about 35 feet in a factor setting from phone and a little further in a line - of - sight. Works in all but the extreme far corners of 2300 ft house if phone is in the center of the house. Great job from the Sony Sound and Electrical engineers. Sony needs new ergonomic engineers or make them wear these for extended hours.

In addition to not pulling my coffee cup off on the floor a half a dozen times a day, I loved the effortless bluetooth connection to my iPhone, the noise cancelling feature makes me the only person in my crowded office and the sharp, crisp sound has me hearing things I've never heard before in music I've listened to thousands of times before. I love these headphones!!

I tested these in a store and had to get them. I will never again have tethered (wired) headphones, so wireless was a must, but It was the sound quality that prompted this purchase. I just returned from a lengthy flight and report that noise cancelling is effective. Reasonably comfortable. No downsides.
