Durable and Effecient

I have had this kettle for 4 years and love it. We boil full pots of water 4-5 times a day, so it has seen high use. Quick to boil, looks great, quiet. Only problem is that the stainless veneer cap occasionally pops off when the lid opens with too much force. I hold vinegar water in it overnight to reduce the lime scale, a few times a year. Wish it would have a stainless interior to minimize hot plastic exposure. Otherwise, I'm glad Krups still manufactures it!

Nice design and functionality, but it broke a year in.

Broken after a year of use. It was well taken care of and cleaned regularly. Suddenly it shorted or something caused it to burn the copper cables connecting into the base. Very disappointed with how bad the quality was for the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

OnOff switch broken

Too bad the clear plastic switch no longer works, this unit is over a year of weekend usage. Please advice what warranty cover this product has.........

Everlasting Kettle

Bought this kettle so long ago that I can’t even remember when I bought it! I’ve had an extra one in my pantry for 5 years incase this one goes but I don’t believe it’s ever going to go out. It’s been the best kettle I’ve ever purchased and I’ve purchased quite a few of them over my lifetime. Thanks Krups for making great products!
