I am very happy with the decision I made to switch to the S7. Packs a lot of punch for it not being a note. The only thing that could even make it better is if it had the S pen. I have had no problems transitioning from the note to this one. Glad I made the change!
Great size and display. Really fast processor. Great phone.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better value than Nexus

My first choice for a phone upgrade was a Nexus 6P for the long term firmware support and rapid updates but Google really shot themselves in the foot this time when they stopped selling via the carrier. The Galaxy S7 at release cost me a third as much as a Nexus. That means I can upgrade my phone every two years, which I consider to be excessive, and still come out way cheaper than going with the Nexus.
I think the camera is great. I love that it is waterproof. The battery life doesn't seem to be great as it has a bigger battery. Most will say that is because of the larger screen, but I'm comparing the battery drop when the screen is off.
I love the Samsung Pay, especially when I use it on old card scanners and trip out the cashiers.
Overall the phone is good, but in my experience in about a year I'll be wishing for features in the latest version of Android but have no expectation that this phone will get it. Having seen it with my Galaxy S4, it is a shame when the manufacturer stops caring about products that are still highly functional.
Pros: Inexpensive, waterproof, samsung pay
Cons: mono speaker, no front speaker, high battery drain while idle, slow android updates
