Prior to purchasing my S7, I used a Samsung Note 2 for 4 years until it would no longer turn on. I dread the process & time that goes into buying, learning and changing all the settings to my preferences. The last year of using my Note 2 I tried to keep up on the newest phones & features. Features that were the most important to me while looking for a new phone was the amount of internal storage, as well as the maximum size memory card it would take. Camera, camera features & video quality were also extremely important since I take an abundance of pictures and videos. I also wanted a phone with fingerprint access to avoid entering a password 50+ times a day. Battery life was also important to me.
The internal memory comes in 32 or 64 GB w/4 GB Ram. The external MicroSD card can be up to 256 GB.
Forward facing and back facing cameras both take amazing quality pictures. I get a lot of positive comments from people that are amazed with the quality of the 12 MP camera the S7 has.
The fingerprint access feature works great and has yet to give me a problem. Fingerprints to use Samsung Pay is also a great feature.
The battery life is definitely better than most phones I've had or have seen on other phones. The S7 has a Non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery which provides up to a 22 h talk time on (3G) network.
Overall, this is one of the best phones I've purchased. It met all the requirements I was looking for, plus features I didn't even know I wanted but now can't do without. I would give this phone a rating of 4.7 out of 5. I highly recommend the Samsung S7.
i am a major Samsung fan but i can not recommend the S7 until they fix issues. It overheats and freezesS
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight, Built-in speakers, excellent space
Cons: Did not meet expectations, over heats, freezes, battery life short
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My old MotoX, while slightly smaller, was better in hand (curved back, slip resistant texture), had better speakers, could surf the web or use maps while talking on the phone (S7 cannot).
Pros: Inexpensive

Well, Im a fan of Samsung. Love the camera. Have had samsung since the Note3. I don't like the sound from the earpiece on this one. Sounds tinny! My wife owns the same type and she agrees. She has samsung for sometime also. Including the S 6 Edge.
Camera is great! Too small for my hands though. Hence the average overall.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, earpiece tinny sound
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loved the S5, Hate the S7

I hate this phone. The font is different (and it is an ugly font) and too small for aging eyes. My calendar won't work correctly. Texting doesn't allow signatures without going through 3 extra steps (through quick responses) and text bubbles are gray instead of colored, making it more difficult to quickly find responses by person (yes, there may be a big C off to the left of the text box, but I have 3 C's in my conversation chain). Phone contact alpha list on right side has letters that are too small to see and difficult to touch the correct one. I frequently end up a couple letters above or below where I need to be. Everything takes more time, more clicks, more steps. Wouldn't buy it again, don't recommend it to others.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the the Galaxy Note I can't go back to using a smaller phone with lesser features. My Galaxy Note 5 was stolen and they don't make it anymore and they don't have a replacement yet.
