I have very few quibbles about the Samsung Galaxy S7. I upgraded from the Galaxy S3 and it's a serious upgrade in almost every way. There are lots of convenient features that were "wish list" ideas when using my S3. I was very pleased to see that Samsung went back to allowing memory expansion via micro SD cards. I can carry around my entire music collection and a ton of audiobooks now. And the camera is a DRAMATIC improvement.
Really the only problem I've encountered so far is audio pausing when listening, primarily to audiobooks, via the auxiliary jack. I narrowed the problem to the use of the UHQ Upscaler. This was proving to be a problem for me as I'm a big audiobook listener, but I skirted around the problem by buying a Bluetooth adapter for my car stereo, and turning off the UHQ upscaler when listening via earbuds.
This is the best phone i had. Its really light weight and it feels comfortable in your hands. The photo quality is spectacular! And I love taking loads of pictures. And now i dont have to worry about the photos taking up my phones space because i could add expandable storge!!! In overall best phone ever!
This phone has been performing well so far, with one exception. One night it was charged at about 70% and should have been working fine, when all of a sudden it turned off and I was unable to turn it back on. The little led in the top corner was constantly on, which was really strange. I went home and after I charged it, it came back to life. Weird moment.
The battery is decent, it is quite snappy overall, but nothing extraordinary about this phone. I actually find it annoying that it constantly asks me to give certain permissions to some apps which are pretty common sense. Once, it did not let me use an app, it kept telling me "Overlay detected, change this app permission in Settings", and when I tried to go there, the app was not in the list.
Overall, good value for the money though, it works well, although as usual these days it is loaded with a lot of useless apps.
I had the galaxy s6 and had to upgrade to the 7 because my 6 got wet. Now i dont have to worry about that which i love. I love the design and i am loving the new features. The only thing i miss is being able to use my phone as a remote. But other than that i love the galaxy s7
I love everything about this phone from the color to the design. The camera is awesome for taking great pictures at night not to mention it's water proof!!! The galaxy s7 is simply cell phone heaven!!!
