Affordable but without self clean

We bought this range with 3 other appliances. The price was ok; but the other big box retailer had another brand for less money, and it had the self cleaning feature. This stove also seems to vent a lot of the oven heat through vents in the top of the door. We bought this one so it would match brands with the microwave oven and refrigerator, otherwise I would have bought the other with more features for less money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Range Ever!!

My husband and I bought this a little over a month ago and I can honestly say, it was the best purchase we've made in a range. I didn't realize how slow my other range was, until I started cooking on this one. The elements took no time to heat up and cooking has been a joy once again!

It is difficult to keep the glass surface clean. Spills burn into the glass easily. No other issues with this product.

I never thought to ask if it was self cleaning when I purchased it andfound that it is NOT when delivered. Is it safe to put aluminumfoil in the bottom to catch drips????? Someone told me NO! Is that true?

This stove looks great and goes with other stainless steel appliances. Its easy to clean! Love the one burner that has 2 different sizes so if you have a small pot you can just use the smaller burner. Don't waste space or energy! All around great product!!
