I am enjoying my canon camera very much! the quality of the pictures are absolutely marvelous.I am a photo tech. and I would absolutely recommend this camera to anyone who is either a professional or someone who just enjoys taking pictures for their own enjoyment.
Pros: good battery life, Good Low-Light Performance, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use

Poor low light performer

I purchased the A810 in January 2013 as a carry-around in my computer bag. The 810 takes great shots in good sunlight but fails in any other lighting. So far I have only used it in the Auto mode and Auto Flash as I did with my old Canon Powershot only my old camera did a superior job in low light conditions.
I like the AA batteries and the slim profile which makes it nice to tote around much more than my old camera which was quite bulky.

This is an awesome camera. People who don't know how to take pictures and know what a great deal this camera is give good reviews. My wife and I use our camera everyday to take pics of our children and send them to family all over the US. Most people who gripe about a good camera are to ignorant to read the directions on how it works. This is my 5th Cannon Camera since the early 1970's
Pros: Fast auto-focus, Superior build quality, Super-sharp images, great low cost expenxive camera
Cons: none

This camera is just garbage

Very bad quality product. Pictures come blur & is exactly opposite of what it looks normally.
Going to return it & will not suggest this to anyone.
Cons: Slow auto-focus, Semi-sharp images, Poor build quality, blur images

GREAT MACHINE. Works great. It is light weight and could be carried around easily.

3rd Power Shot

This is the third power shot camera I have owned. I use it mainly to take photos of houses in foreclosure. Many of these photos must be taken without the occupants knowledge. Easy to use and also fast. Great camera!

Poor Quality Images

I generally like Canon products. However, for some reason whenever I take images with this camera everything comes out underexposed or blurry.
