Got the gril a week ago and used it for the first time last night for bbq with my coworkers. I am unhappy with its performance so far for a few reasons.
the Starter doesn't work, its possible I put the grill together wrong somehow, but I double checked it and looks correct.
The grill does not get hot enough. I cooked chicken and it took much longer than I would have liked, it was stil fine, but I cant imagine trying to cook a steak on this thing.
Last, the grill is less portable than I would like, legs dont fold, and its bulkier than most travel grills.
If I were to make this choice again, I would go with a more expensive weber grill, at least you know you are paying for a quality product.

Needs Some Work

Was very easy to put together. Liked the ability to take it with us camping. But I WOULD NOT CONNECT A LARGER TANK to this unit. It does not come with an o-ring to prevent backflow of gas. And that could cause a big problem for someone that likes to leave the gas turned on.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ok grill for the money. I haven't used it too much yet so I'm still getting used to it as they all seem to have their own personalities. The heating i s s bit uneven but my biggest complaint is the igniter which if you're lucky will work with a dozen tries. Best have a long reach lighter in hand. Numerous times I just gave up on it even though I can see a nice spark. It just won't light the gas for some reason. Please Charbroil, if you have some suggestions I'd like it to function.

I LOVE ALL MY CHAR BROIL PRODUCTS THEY ARE WELL MADE, PRICED RIGHT & EFFIECIENT THIS PARTICULAR GRILL WE PURCHASED FOR OUR BOAT. WE TAKE IT TO THE PRIVATE BEACHES TO HAVE COOK OUTS. WHEN WE ARE ANCHORED OUT IT MAKES GREAT COOKING OUTDOORS INSTEAD OF SMELLING UP THE BOAT DOWNSTAIRS . IT CLEANS UP EASY NO CHARCOAL MESS LEFT BEHIND

The left side was definitely burning higher than the right. Is this by design?
