I am happy with everything except one about this product. The ceramic grate is terrible to clean. I use a grill cleaning cloth with dots on it special for cleaning ceramic. I also use the liquid cleaner we purchased separately from you. The crusted on food is very difficult to get off. Also when rubbing as hard as possible my finger tips slam against the center bar running perpendicular to the cooking bars. A steel bar is so much better because you just let the food cool on the bars and use a brush which is easy to do. The cramic grate is an unfortunate feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're sorry to hear of the issues encountered. How are you normally cleaning your grill? We recommend a nylon brush and warm soapy water or biodegradable grill cleaner. Seasoning the grates with canola oil will also help to keep food from sticking and prevent rust. Please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 for more information.
I bought this grill about a year ago for camp to replace our old grill that we had for more than 14 years. We use it every week we go to camp MAINLY because we like to cook outside. This grill has the basic feature which is what I was looking for (why bother with the fancy one that don't last). So far I have no complaints fires right up every time and cooks fairly evenly.
Ours is a Community grill and it serves that purpose well. It doesn't use too much fuel, it's not too big, it cleans up well, and it does the job simply.
We love our Char-Broil grill, we use it 5 of 7 days a week cooking hamburgers, brats, chicken and even pizza. It lights on the first try and we have never had any problems with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the perfect grill for one or two people. Enough BTU's to cook quickly yet still is easy to time for great results. Wouldn't have any other brand.
