[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live on the downslope of a hill facing away from the tv transmitters so receiving the signals from the mountain top 20+ miles away was difficult at best. Set top antennas did not work at all and so I had to resort to a rooftop antenna. I bought the db4e along with the VHF and power booster and now I receive (on a good day) 167 channels. On a bad day - 132. Wow! The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because sometimes the channels will go in and out even after fussing with it by moving it a few degrees (which may or may not be due to the strength of the antenna). It could be that I just live in a very difficult place to get reception, or that the antenna needs to be a little stronger, but there's no way to know that for sure. According to the power rating, I shouldn't have any problems at all; and for the most part, I don't. I also don't like the plastic clips on the VHF adapter because they can easily break off if you want to move it, and not every RF connector comes with a rubber boot to protect it from the weather. The power booster is also metal so it is subject to rusting. All that said, it is a great antenna that so far has brought me many free channels that I wouldn't be able to get otherwise. Great value, and I love not having to pay the cable company any money for what is given away for free over the air!
