The carafe spills water all over counter

Don't buy. Every time I attempt to fill the water reservoir,the carafe spills water all over counter. Even pouring slowly and/or half full, water still pours all over. Carafe lip needs redesigned. Maybe customer service could send me one that works!?

Returned another Name Brand coffee maker because clock was malfunctioning and purchased this one for a better price. So far works great and coffee is excellent--only had for 1 day :)
Pros:
Like the fact that the tube in the water well is clear so I can be sure that it is clean. It was not in my previous unit
Slimmer than the Name Brand maker I returned and fits counter well
Illuminated digital clock, so I can read it from across the room and light to let me know I set the Timer.
CON: Previous maker had water view window on both sides. Made it more adaptable for counter positioning.
Would like to see that feature on future B & D Coffee Makers in this price range.

original sales receipt- will try to exchange- 2nd one that has done this- and costs more than a new pot to send check for shipping new!

Christmas gift. Not working after only 2 months. Woke up this morning to a gurgling pot with no coffee. Water doesn't seem to want to go into the filter basket. And of course I have 13 people coming to my house for brunch. No more Black and Decker for me! UGH!

I purchased this coffee pot after my Kuerig gave out on me. I've had it two months and it doesn't work now. The power light comes on, the clock display works, but water will not move through the machine and the plate doesn't get hot either. And from the looks of other reviews, I'm not the only one that has had this same problem. I wish I had the box and receipt because I would return for a decent coffee maker that actually MAKES COFFEE!

Was great until it just stopped working

I bought this coffee maker in August 2015 and it had been working great, until two days ago when it stopped working completely. Similar to other reviews, the power button works, the clock works, the water is just sitting in the carafe. Super frustrating.

Obvious design flaw

I had never bought a black and decker appliance and probably won't in the future. Same issue as everyone else described, just stopped heating one day. Seems to me that is an indication of a larger design issue. Had the coffee pot 5 months but only used it a couple times a week.
