The coffee machine is garbage-I bought it 3 months ago & it died on friday 3/4- will never buy Black and Decker small appliance again. I have a 20 yr old toaster oven & a 25 yr old Steam iron & Food processor that are great but they are over 20 yrs old all 3 are Black and Decker. And I cant find a coffee maker to last more that 3 months. What happened to the good products of old?

I bought the coffee pot before Christmas. It looks like this one only black. You can not put water in the back without spilling water everywhere and the same way with pouring coffee, the carafe leaks water everywhere! My son came up to visit and said, "I just bought the same coffee pot, does your carafe leak everywhere when you pour water and coffee!" Yes!!! The number on mine was CM1010B.

Where do I begin? The cup markings on the side of the pot are too far forward to read while you are filling it with water. The function buttons have been placed so close together that pushing the correct one is a hit and miss proposition. And, finally, the pour spout works like one of those old, trick dribble glasses - it is impossible to fill your cup without messing up the counter. Definitely not up to B & D standards.

Inexpensive and I bought it a couple of years ago... it's still cranking out good coffee! I love the programmable feature too. No complaints here.

I thought it was me maybe because every time a poured a cup of coffee, it leaked all over the counter. Every time I'd pour water in to make coffee, it would pour all over the counter. Come to find out through other online reviews...it's a piece of junk.

I recently bought the coffee pot, model DLX1050W. I bought it. I like it at first. Except for one thing..........every time I use it I can't avoid a big mess everywhere due to the design of the pot. These spills have happened every single time I use the pot. Every time I fill the pot with water to pour into the reservoir, a good portion of it spills onto my counter. Every time I attempt to pour coffee into my cup, a good portion of it spills onto my counter. Also, when I lift the lid to the reservoir, all sorts of condensed water on the lid pours off of it down the back of the pot down to the electrical connection, causing a water pool behind the pot that then, also needs to be mopped up. The reason is simple. The designer put the hinge on the outside instead of the inside forcing the lid to open outside the reservoir and the water to leak everywhere. This is a potential electrical hazard and all they had to do was make the hinge an inny, not an outy. Not real hard and a simple test of the prototype would have prevented this mistake. Anyway, I hate all this cleaning up after doing something as basic and repetitive as simply pouring....from a brand new pot...?? I am very disappointed in this product.

Two different purchases of the DCM1300 (the predecessor) to this 12-cup programmable model developed leaks and became dangerous and unusable. I refuse to buy another Black & Decker appliance.
