Just an expensive box that could be opened

The locking mechanism broke....it is made of plastic and apparently anyone can break it with some force, so there is no point in the security. Just buying an expensive box that could be opened.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This safe would not open

Had to break the safe in order to get it to open - would not unlock, lock got stuck.

this safe is quite nice. It is large enough for my laptop and my valuables. It is strong and portable. I live the fact that I can teather it to my car seat when not in the car.

The safe is beautiful, and seemingly secure, but I replaced this safe 4 times and the mechanisms would not allow entry for me to utilize it. I am seriously disappointed because I really wanted this safe!

Can easily open lock with force

The lock mechanism is very weak. The batteries fell out inside the safe so the buttons stopped working. I twisted the latch hard and it just popped opened. Not secure at all.

It has a PLASTIC lock that broke within hours

Nice heavy box, but the lock is made of PLASTIC. Look at the pictures. Within hours of getting this the plastic lock got out of alignment and now does not lock at all. Besides the digital lock, you can open it with a key. That key has 1 pin. Look at your home door key. all those notches relate to the number of pins in the lock - usually 5 or 6 pins. This lock has 1 pin.
What a change from the old superbowl ads standing up to a bullet. Now if the OWNER turns the knob, the plastic lock stays unlocked. How far this company has fallen!
