This was obviously previously used. There is a white residue all over the inside and you can actually see wiping marks like someone tried to clean it up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Safe is nice and sturdy just wish the interior dimensions were slightly larger. My life insurance policy does not lie flat. Also, a more airtight gasket would keep my documents moisture free.
