Was looking for safe and secure "fire/water" portable protection, definitely provides that. It's well made, heavy duty construction instills peace of mind for storing valuables. Obviously it's portability makes it easy to hide, the light duty locking mechanism being only area I see for improvement.

Was given to me, to keep my firearm out of grand kids reach. But its not intended for that because in the manual it says can rust guns, ammo, jewelry etc. So now I got a empty safe I won’t use and can’t return it because the box was thrown out. I guess it’ll work for any other valuables, hope to never have to find out.

Sorry to hear this safe will not work for your application. Fire safes, by design, offer a tight seal and the density of the cement insulation can create internal moisture buildup. Desiccant packets and opening the safe periodically will help.
